Later, Ryan Seacrest announced on his radio show -- and tweeted out -- the nominees for Best Pop Solo Performance. Twitter is currently being used to unveil additional finalists, which will continue throughout the day.
For Record of the Year, the nominees are Iggy Azalea, Sia, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, and Meghan Trainor.
Below is the list of the initial categories; additional nominations will be revealed during the day. Finalists for the big one, Album of the Year, will be unveiled during tonight's "A Very Grammy Christmas" on CBS, the network which will also host the Grammys on Feb. 8.TheWrap will update this post when the final names are called.
